Durban Workshop – CreateZA South Africa Tour 2021

Our Durban Workshop was an event to remember! We were hosted by Open Plan Studio and provided with an amazing place for the YouTubers of Durban to come together and collaborate. The CreateZA Team was joined by We were Joined by Gugu Mazibuko, Brently Perumal & Valencia Naidoo who were our panelists and answered all the questions the community had about Content Creation.

The workshop program featured three major fundamentals of content production:

Knowing Your Why presented by Sheldon Zam,
Preproduction, Production, and Postproduction presented by Tenn iBair,
SEO presented by Caleb Janssens

The presentations were followed by a fun and interactive quiz where the winners were given access to the CreateZA Academy which would give them all the necessary tools to succeed on their journey of Content Creation.

Following the giveaways was a Q&A session with our panelists. Our three panelists for the day were Gugu Mazibuko, Brently Perumal & Valencia Naidoo who had experience with YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The panelists engaged the creators with real advice on the societal and psychological stresses that come with fame and being a paid content creation.

In conclusion, our Durban Workshop was a tool for networking and collaborations amongst content creators. We look forward to the next one!
